From the moment you arrive in Ireland, Landon Carver support you all the way. We arrange airport transfers for you and will be waiting for you at the other end to take you directly to your accommodation. Our accommodation is provided in self-catering housing, often shared with fellow participants. The houses accommodate 3-6 participants, each participant has their own room with a shared kitchen and living room.
At Landon Carver we pride ourselves in matching the very best work placement with each cadidates specific needs. We work with some of the most respected companys in Ireland. Participants on our programs are funded through the Erasmus + programme which means there is no financial obligation on your part. The fund covers their cost of travel, accomidation and subsistence. The aim of the program is to allow participants experience what its like to work in their chosen sector in another European country whille also improving their english language skills.
Our participants are mature, have a high level of English and often speak two or more languages. They are available for periods of 4 – 8 weeks. Each candidate meets with their host company prior to starting the placement to confirm their working schedule. We can also arrange Skype calls between employers and candidates prior to departure to ensure the work placement and the candidate are an excellent fit.
All of our host companies sign up to an agreement to confirm they will;
• Provide a structured work placement with mutually agreed working hours
• Adhere to Health and Safety Standards.
• Treat the participant the same as your employees.
• Complete some paperwork at the end of placement.
